Drugging the children is easier than giving them what they need. Frankly, they are at the bottom so far as their concerns go. This is how we care for our children in “civilized” society.

Hi Diana,

My daughter has ADHD and have seen her friends shrug her off when she’s silly in class or doing the wrong thing down the street. I don’t want that for her.
Jasmine is 6 and impulsive and has come out with things like “I’m going to jump in front of a car and get squashed” – Will I give her medication? Yes I will!
I love her more than life itself and giving her medication isn’t the worse thing in the world.
The expert speakers you have are trying to “help your child with ADHD” eg: the foods, the chiropractic appointments. Each one I am trying so why not medication?
I don’t want Jasmine on tablets all of her life but I can’t help but feel – as a mother, I AM doing the right thing for her for right now.
When she is medicated she is not a zombie, she is a calm and loving and still funny ,bright. little girl.
If your child had diabetes would you medicate it?
I do like getting your notifications normally but this one has made me feel like a failure.
I’m not a millionaire or a business leader or a famous actor but I’m happy with my life and I’m sure Jasmine will be as well. She will know what is important in life.
